How to use bass amplifier

  1. Set the volume of the electric bass and amplifier to 0
  2. Plug the shield (cable) into the electric bass
  3. Plug the shield into the bass amplifier
  4. Switch on the bass amp
  5. Adjust the volume while gradually raising the volume of bass amplifier and electric bass

When plugging the cable (shield) into the amplifier, be sure to turn the volume to 0. If the volume is raised while the power is on, a loud noise may be heard when connecting or disconnecting the cable, which may damage the speaker or amplifier.

Before turning on the amplifier, let's make the connection between the bass and the amplifier.

Plug the cable into "INPUT" of the bass amplifier. Depending on the amp model, there are two types of INPUT, such as "HIGH", "LOW", "Active" and "Passive". In that case, let's connect as follows.

  • "HIGH" or "Passive": Connect passive bass (electric bass not requiring battery)
  • "LOW" or "Active": Connect the active bass (electric bass using battery)

[5] Adjust the volume while gradually raising the volume of bass amplifier and electric bass

Below are the controls of each part of the amplifier.

  • GAIN: Control for adjusting volume and adjusting distortion in combination with MASTER
  • BASS: Control to adjust the low range
  • MIDDLE: Control to adjust the midrange
  • TREBLE: Control to adjust the high range
  • MASTER: Control to adjust the volume
