This amp sounds really good. The cleans are crystal and will stay super clean no matter where the volume is. If you want the edge of breakup sound hit the boost switch. The gain channel also sounds great. It does blues and classic rock well. If you use the boost switch it can do punk, hard rock. If you want to play metal, you will need a pedal. This amp takes pedals very well. for me the reverb was a little weak. On the lower setting I couldn’t tell if it was even on. The chorus, and tremelo sound great. If you don’t have a chorus and tremelo, its worth paying a little more to get this super60. At 60 watts this amp is way too loud for apartment use in Japan. Even at 1 watt I cant go past 2 on the volume knob （1.5 if the boost switch is on）. If you live in a house you might be able to go a little louder. The best thing about this amp was the price. Sound House often have sales and coupons which will lower the price.
