be simple: if you have a preamp with fully covered chassis （e.g. AudioScape 1290）, think about it.
I only have 1 rack unit left so the solution is buying a single unit 500 power supplier. Radial one is out of stock so R53 became the answer. It fits perfectly with 500 units which comes without chassis, but encountered a huge issue on units with one.
1. slot 1 has a metal tip on the up left corner, so it’s physically impossible to insert and unit with chassis, the only way is trying slot 2 and 3 （at the end elysia mpressor was sitting on slot 1）
2. tried with slot 3, golden fingers position does not match. I have to bend the pcb board a little bit to fit
the problem is, signal flows from 1 to 3 （as far as what i tested）, as from above I had to put my preamp on slot 3, so the link function is not working properly, cost another XLR cable.
beside of what described above, R53 works good.
