Great mic !

I bought this mic because I wanted to try a Ribbon mic and I also was interested on the ”hybrid old and new ribbon technology ” that this microphone offers.
After a colleage started using the VR2 and noticing that the high frecuency response was a little different fromwhat one usually expects I went for this mic, wich appeared more old school to my taste.
I use it mostly on guitar amps and bass clarinet. The sound is wide and natural !
The low end is fantastic and the high end rolls off very naturally so the recorded sound tends to be very clean.
I would not recomend using the mic clip that comes with because you might get some undesired noises specally on the low end.
I love it and I own two of them now !

初リボン

アウトボードのマイクプリの余裕のゲインを生かす為に、リボンマイクにチャレンジするのに選びました。
ヴォーカルやアコギ、エレキギターのアンプなど色々テストしていますが、現状ではアンプに立てるSM57に違和感があるフレーズや曲で力を発揮しています。
ヴォーカルでは、エッジの立った声質の女性の方が合うでしょう。
SM57より柔らかく艶のある感じで、ギターアンプではエッジよりセンター気味の方がハイ落ちも軽減出来てすっきり仕上がると思います。
最近lewitの440DMを使い始め、SM57の使用が次第に減ってきましたが、やはり雰囲気を出せるリボンは1本あると良いですね。高級なリボンを使った事が無いのでリボン同士の比較は出来ていませんが、やはりEQやコンプ、サチュレーションのプラグインの前に、まずは楽器、マイク、プリアンプ、インターフェース（ADコンバーター）、ケーブル、マイキング含めた環境です。
録り音でまずは最初の勝負の為には、こういった価格がリーズナブルでプロユースにも可能なマイクのバリエーションは大事だと思いました。
