Of course this set does not compare with the higher end drums, but they can sound good enough. All you need is some decent heads, decent cymbals, and some proper tuning and youre good to go. The hardware arent that bad, although the hi-hat stand and bass drum pedal does make some unwanted sound. Overall, I think this is a great set to start out with and is recommended to starters.
