Not one of the better products on sale here. I expected more after it took three months to arrive. The edges of the lectern are quite sharp, not well-filed, it is very easy to cut or slice your fingers on them. The thin metal top is easily bent. The angle of the lectern is also quite steep, much more than a regular podium/ lectern, while the size is quite small. Ill cut the lip off it, and use it to mount a larger, polished wooden surface that youre not afraid to rest your arms or hands on. Overall, it is probably easier to use a TRUSS4/BP Base plate as a foundation for a lectern, as Ive done before.

Youll lose that out of phase bluesy tone that characterises a Strats sound, but youll get instead a host of modern, cutting edge tones. From deep solid solo lines to bright chords, this delivers them all. One warning, there is not much from for the PP9 battery when you install it, I recommend making the body cut out a little larger, otherwise the pick-up plate can be pushed up from the body.

(5.0) Magnificent... 2009/08/21
I use this with the 4.5XL cabinet, playing a MusicMan StingRay, and the sound is magnificent. The compressor is quite responsive and actually works, smoothing out your playing volume, while the two contour controls enable quick and profound changes in your sound. The choice of balancing both tube or solid-state inputs gives infinite tonal variation, and should satisfy the needs of all bass players. Its got a solid chassis, ideal for touring, and the XLR output on the back is good to connect direct to a PA, though I recommend it goes through a DI Box as the level is quite hot.

Excellent cables, no significant noise, well-constructed with both jacks securely attached to the cable. Good value, not the cheapest cables, but if you want quality and reliability, these are for you!
