The DFG24 2H is a Zemaitis original body style with a selected African mahogany body and neck, and an ebony fingerboard.
It has a 635mm scale, set neck joint, and medium-sized 24 frets.
The aluminum alloy disc plate on the top of the body is engraved with the name "Buccaneer Island" (Pirate Island), designed by master engraver Danny O'Brien, and the words "A. C. ZEMAITIS SINCE 1955" are engraved on it, indicating its tradition. Its classic look characterizes the ZEMAITIS SINCE 1955.
It has a bridge and tailpiece made of Zemaitis' original aluminum alloy, an element that creates Zemaitis' unique tone.
The head's arrowhead-shaped brand emblem, truss rod cover, tailpiece, switch plate, output jack plate, and control and switch back plates are also made of aluminum alloy and are engraved.
The pickups have two metal-covered Zemaitis Custom PAF-style humbuckers, and the controls are the well-known CTS pots, with a volume and master tone layout for each pickup.
A CRL 3-way pickup selector switch is provided, and the tone capacitor uses an orange drop.
In addition, reliable Gotoh locking tuners are used to ensure tuning stability.
The lacquer finish is used.
