〇Amp modeling
The latest ""Ares"" modeling is the most expressive and musical of all the models developed by Fractal Audio Systems, and reacts to picking nuances very close to the original amp.
〇Abundant speaker cabinets
The cabinet block is a 2-channel specification equipped with a legacy bank containing Axe-Fx II cabinet models and over 2,200 impulse responses (IRs) created by major brands. It is possible to reproduce techniques such as mixing two speaker cabinets and different miking used in actual recording and on stage. It is also possible to load third-party IRs into the 1,024 user cabinet areas.
〇Effector
The FM3, which is extremely excellent as a multi-effect unit, is equipped with Fractal Audio's most advanced effect algorithms. Covers a wide range of effects, from drive, delay, reverb, compressor, EQ, phaser, flanger, and other modulation to loopers.

〇Griffin DSP
FM3 is equipped with a three-core Griffin DSP consisting of one ARM core and two SHARC + cores, making it compact yet highly capable. By adopting a dedicated graphics processor, the main DSP is dedicated to important audio processing.

〇Foot switch
Each of the three foot switches with color LED rings and mini LCD displays can be set to tap (short press) and hold (long press) functions, and the customizable 8 types of switch layouts support various usage methods. In addition, the View function allows you to access all switches of the virtual 12-switch controller with only three switches.

〇Connection with FC series
By connecting an FC series controller to the FASLINK II port, not only foot switches but also expression jacks and foot switch jacks are added. Just connect and no special settings are required. By daisy-chaining up to two FC-12 or FC-6 foot controllers, you can expand the number of foot switches up to 27.

〇4-in, 4-out USB audio
With a USB connection to a Mac or Windows computer, the FM3 functions as a very high-quality audio interface for playback, recording, and reamping, improving your music production environment. For studio recording, you can record and reamp the FM3's stereo output, and for live performances, you can simultaneously output the FM3's stereo signal and stereo backing tracks.

〇FM3-Edit
FM3-Edit is a Mac/Windows compatible editor for FM3 that displays, edits, and manages presets, etc. You can instantly see the entire preset, edit blocks and parameters, copy/paste, drag and drop, etc. You can also convert presets for Axe-Fx III to FM3, and vice versa.
