SUPRO / 1699RH Statesman Head

A two-channel, 50W amplifier that unites vintage Supro tone with modern channel switching functionality, tube-driven reverb and a multi-purpose, all-tube effects loop. The red channel uses the two-knob preamp from the legendary Supro Thunderbolt amplifier for high-headroom rock & roll power. The blue channel contains the high-gain preamp and reverb section of our acclaimed Comet model.

・ Tube-driven spring reverb (BLUE CH) switchable on / off
・ Tube-driven effects loop (RED CH) that can be used as ON / OFF switching and boost
・ Equipped with a “spillover” effect of relay control on both the effect loop and reverb, a trail effect works when switching channels.
・ Different textures can be obtained by switching between Class A / AB
-Class A (Cathode Bias): A unique midrange beating tone that has been the cornerstone of Supro sound since its inception in 1935
-Class AB (grid bias): added headroom, tones with stronger punch and faster attack
